I came to Australia to be in my own exile..to run away from my sexuality and my family. I no longer have to run away and it is now time to be closer to home. It is not official as I have also applied to the University of Oslo and the University of Stockholm. I will let fate make my decision and also go where I get the most money or scholarships. I have always wanted to study and live in Northern Europe and today that dream is starting to become a reality. So much to do…so much to plan…one year to go! I stopped to say goodbye to my friend James last Wednesday. James was off to the USA to mee this guy he had been dating. Somehow we got talking about trust…trust in men and trust in relationships. James is always giving me compliments. He is a very giving person yet I never really take him seriously. Both James and I have a real hard time accepting complements. We both realised that it is due to the fact that we have had negative experiences when we trusted men in the past. Now, in order to protect our feelings we do not want to take any risks when it comes to trust.
